Tamiya Pocket Rocket
Today saw me take my Tamiya M03 1/10 scale chassis to the track to not only dust-off some webs, but to re-invigorate my love of this great RC chassis.
It’s been way too long since I last drove this great little car, and I was super excited to have a go of it again… and at a new track.
So I charged up a few Lipo’s and headed off to the great track at Crystal Palace.
The setup fundamentals remained the same, but I quickly realised that the front toe-out had to be adjusted to keep the car in a straight line, as well as get some minor trimming done.
A perfect sunny day, with many laps achieved… all of which were such a joy to drive with the M03, and I was very impressed with how the performance went, especially with a standard Tamiya Black Sport Tuned motor.
I’d like to see if there’s an opportunity to start a dedicated Tamiya class at the club, as I’m sure there are many more Tamiya enthusiasts around who would get just as much enjoyment as I did today.
More to come!!!
