Project Jaguar XJR-12 Daytona Winner

My boyhood dream car turned up the other day where I remember having posters of the 1:1 car all around the walls of my bedroom.

Jaguar originally built the car as a prototype race car in the 1980’s, which in 1990, won the Le Mans 24 hours endurance race. This was the event that I was glued to the TV way back then… and was definitely the springboard for me to fall in love with the car.

She was/is a 7 litre v12 with 735hp pushing the speedo to 368kph/229mph.

So here she is at 1/10 scale… albeit based on the car’s win at Daytona, my new acquisition which will have some minor restoration work as well as most likely a replacement body shell.
