Part C2 Steering Arm Breakage

Unfortunately I’ve suffered another broken part on my 959 restoration. This is a far too familiar sight with 959 restorations, as over the years of accumulation of dirt, mud and grease, these parts are notorious for breaking.


The ball connectors are most likely to have been over tightened upon assembly with these ‘sensitive’ parts… and they simply don’t stand the test of time. The plastic sections are prone to fatigue, and breaks are only discovered when dismantling.
